Venue of the competition: the "Zvezdnyy" Arena

Everything related to the competition except for meals (breakfasts, dinners) and lodging will take place in the sports and leisure center "Zvezdnyy" (Arena). The Arena is 30 minutes (wait + travel) time by public transport from the accommodations. Lunches will be provided at the Arena. Food and snacks are also available inside the venue for purchase by participants (light meal about 3-5 Euro).
The "Zvezdnyy" Arena - is a multipurpose sports and entertainment complex of five thousand seats, equipped with high-class sports facilities, individual climate control, automatic fire-extinguishing system. Medical service, showers, restaurant and bars are also available on the territory of the Arena. It fully meets the requirements set to sports facilities of the European level.
The venue is open for public from 8:00 till 22:00. The place is accessible 24 hours for team members with a badge.
[ ! ] No one is allowed to use the emergency exit under normal circumstances.Smoking is prohibited inside the venue.

Venue of the competition: Internet Connection
The Internet access will be provided via Wi-Fi in the "Zvezdnyy" Arena, actual speed of data transfer is limited to 1 Mb/s though. Access is open to anyone without a password.
The Wi-Fi spot is placed in the middle of the arena and link coverage is guaranteed only for its facility, nearby rooms (separated by walls from the arena) might have low-quality or no connection.
[ ! ] Also mind that Internet access is not guaranteed while official matches are played. Make sure you do not need it during the contest.The schedule below is made simple and is extracted from the full program to indicate only the most important events for teams.

08:00 22:30 Transfer of teams to the airport
[ ! ] Note that transfer to/from the airport is available free within the competition days (28.06 - 03.07). Its schedule will be based upon arrival/departure information indicated in the questionnaire.Struggling with a robot could be one of the many possibilities to perform while participating to the Eurobot Final. This year you could also:
- visit workshops of some Eurobot participants;
- participate in a workshop of a chess grandmaster;
- and after that win with your brain in a usual chess game among Eurobot teams;
- participate in round-table discussions on education and innovation;
- relax on a boat trip on Volga river, while having lunch with fellow euroboticians;
- participate to the Eurobot General Assembly;
- visit exhibitions in the venue: laboratory, industrial, Russian NOC activities, Planete Sciences activities;
- visit new places to see what is Russia like today: see the city, know the people;
- and finally see the thematic for the next Eurobot year!
Along with the Eurobot Final friendly matches between Junior and Starter teams will be organized.
For the participants, organizers and guests, the following cultural events are available:
- June 30, July 1 - a bus tour of the city of Astrakhan with a visit to the main attractions of the city - Astrakhan Kremlin;
- June 30, July 1 - a visit to Astrakhan art gallery named after Dogadin and museum-house of merchant Tetyushinov.
Sightseeing tours start at 18.00. Duration is 2 hours.
- June 29 at 21:00 - one may attend to a disco in the entertainment night club "Dair" (Boyevaya st., 2). Visit of the club and travel costs are up to own expenses of the visitors (taxi services and rates are indicated at the end of this guide).
- July 2 at 20:00 - a "beach party - barbecue" is organized. Participation in the party costs 10 Euro for an individual. At the party a variety of meals and refreshments will be offered. A bar will also operate at the beach area where everyone can buy alcoholic beverages at their own expense.
